Yes, they definitely are. The term "activated" simply means they have been treated for use of odor and moisture absorption. All NEOZONE bamboo charcoal has undergone a specialized heat treatment process to activate them for odor and moisture removal purpose.

Are NEOZONE's Bamboo Charcoal chemical free?

Yes, we use 100% natural content in our bags. In the making of your bamboo charcoal, we do not add or treat them with chemicals. This is a nature inspired product! Be assured and use them with an ease of mind!

Where can I use them?

Anywhere you please my friend! Even cars, fridges, gym bags and pet areas! On top of places where odor needs to be ousted, our personal recommendation is to hang them at places you spend most time in. e.g. study room. That way you can enjoy fresh air all day long!

How do you reuse them?

It's easy! Let mother nature do all the work for you! Put them under the sun for 4 - 6 hours every 30 days and they are ready to be put back into action again! What happens is the heat from the sun expands the porous surface releasing all the trap odor and moisture. Repeat this process and your bags can last for up to 2 years! What a bang for your buck!

What if I have huge space?

Each bag can cover up to space of 95 square feet! That's basically the size of a conventional bedroom. If you have a large space that you would like to deploy the your bags, simply put 2 or more of these bags to work!
